i'm really not sure how much longer i can keep playing an fm game where steve mclaren is still the england manager in 2014! i mean, if that isn't a kick in the teeth for the realism of the program then i don't know what is! he'll be lucky to get a job in league one after what he did to us...

if anyone can provide me with a way to get him sacked, please let me know!

i noticed on the editor hes in favoured personel with england, 100/100. i added a player to england game and retired him to leave job open but they reemployed mclaren

oh and i think si should put in what happens with most countries where the manger usually does 1 or 2 tournemants then leaves

Well if anything the game is too realistic, as any idiot should in theory be able to be fairly successful with England (and that idiot is Mclaren), that's the frustration with being an England fan. I'll brace myself for the 'you're not as good as you think you are' comments now...

is what you usually get in this forum, i would choose you over steve maclaren he manages not to qualify with a team of millionaire superstars against teams who would probaly draw on a sunday aginst the kings arms f.c

Well I just loaded up a new game I started in the A-League and Steve McClaren was sacked after Euro 2008.

The team finished bottom behind; France, Denmark and Romania.

And he was replaced by Jose Mourinho! :p

there you go then! much better, but still not quite right, as the flame haired, umbrella toting, cliche ridden disaster zone couldn't even get us to euro 2008. i'm sure we would've finished bottom if we had gone with him in charge though!!
