I decided to finally update to the latest patch but since doing so I've noticed that my scouts, regardless of where they are sent and how good they are at their jobs, they never come back with anyone to report and it's really quite annoying.
The interesting thing is that in my 1st season [I'm currently in my 2nd] scouts did come back with reports, it seems like since patching the game this has started happening though I'm not 100% on that so don't quote me on it.
Is this a patch related issue or is it just me suffering from a lack of scouting reports? It doesn't even matter if I send a scout to a nation he has 100% knowledge of with specific instructions, or none at all, he still doesn't find anyone now. I did some searching on the forum for related topics to this and couldn't find anything matching my query if I've missed something then you have my apologies.
The other thing I noticed and again it might just be me is that the players, even when specifically set to, still tend to not close down the other teams players, allowing them to simply walk through my defence at times !
The worst example of this was when Coloccini received the ball on the right from a throw in we had and he just stood there [was walking the pitch option] so the opposition of course stole the ball from him and had an attempt on my goal.
Now that is really annoying !
I've tried playing around with various options with no concrete success, they just keep doing it, so any solution to that one ? It's not that it happens ALL the time but it's very frequent and certainly more frequent than it should. Any suggestions as to how to fix this one ?
