Default Falkirk kit problems

SIOSI Thread

This is a threat from sortitoutsi, relating to using a kit for Falkirk in the Scottish leagues.

Whatever we do, we can't seem to get Falkirk to display a kit - it either appears blank, very occasionally displays the correct kit or shows the default shirt. It's insanely random.

Anyone got any suggestions aside from typos, fmxml, file format, incorrect config files etc...

Is it maybe something to do with hard coding?

It's a duplicate issue, I'd guess - make sure you've only got one entry for the falkirk home and away strips in the .xml file and also only one strip for home and away (you may have others in a different folder.

The game is reading the config file(s) and displaying randomly.

It isn't. I've deleted all other folders so that only Falkirk are in the kits folder - and it still happens.

Assigning kits to Falkirk seems to work fine for me.

Yeah, me too.

Do a search for 'Falkirk', their ID, etc. and make sure there is only one home and away kit? Maybe remove all kits and add countries at a time, see if that helps?
