I have read through the last 2 pages of this forum and I am still unclear on matchday backgrounds.

Am I right in thinking that you are ABLE to display a background picture on the matchday screen but that it is UNABLE to change that picture to show the ground of the home team in that game.

You can assign pictures to teams, competitions and people, but not stadiums.

I'm not sure what would happen if you assigned a picture of, say, Arsenal's stadium as the only background pic for Arsenal and then played a home game for Arsenal - it might just display the default picture in the match.

You can't assign backgrounds to stadiums (which it should display on matchdays)

An invalid unique ID is passed in during the match so it won't work.

Thanks for clearing that up guys.

Fedgin I believe that in your example the game would display the default.jpg as the background image during a game.

Does that imply that it is something that, if SI so wished, could be fixed in a future version?

I dare say it could be done, but the screen code would need to be converted over to use the new system which would probably take a while.
