(I searched for this, but have not found a clear answer about it.)

Please, I would like to know this: if I delete some pgn pictures from regens directory (just some of them), can it occur some malfunction on game? I mean, I want to delete some of that horrible pictures, leaving good and ok ones, not having to touch config.xml file. Or should I edit config.xml as well? Of course, I don't want to find some trouble later in the savegame, when regens really would come.

Thanks in advance! (I have played CM 03-04 until last week: founding FM now!)

Just delete the pictures you dont like, it wont mess the game up at all (in fact it will probably make it better!!)

In fact, I was just about to ask the same thing - but I was also wondering if it's ok to in fact delete *all* the regen pics.

(There's too many for me to sift through and I'm sick of my 18 year old newbies looking like 57 year old pie-munchers.)

You can just delete the entire 'regens' folder. It won't do anything to your game (except not display pictures for regens)

I deleted about 500 pictures. No one bald, no one with glasses survived!

I just deleted the whole file. Some are fine but many are terrible

ditto.. one of the only mistakes SI has made in terms of the franchise IMO.. but hey.. i still love 'em
