hi. Ive tried creating myself on fm05 using the Editor. I tried to make me the best possible with most attributes at 20 with only the bad attributes lower and GK attributes. when i save the settings and load up a new game my created players stats are not wat i set them as. There is about 15 20's and the rest are mostly all 1's or maybe higher. Is there a limit to how good the players can be? PLz help?
Sorry if this has been asked b4, havent been able to find this question in the forums.
Make sure your current ability is high, say 200, maxed out.
The make sur your rep is high, this seems to have a big effect on how much a player holds onto his high stats edited.
Apart from that stats will fall.
Make the player more realistic.
So if your a striker, put all the defensive stats low, this means your attacking stats have more of a chance of coming through.
You'll still have a kick-ass player, and will probably be the best striker in the world, but why would you want to put yourself in the game and create a superstar?
Sorta spoils the realism. Not that i aint put myself in the game before, but i put my stats in as i see myself, plus a generous dollop of skill.
Much better if you have a few faults, like in real life, and work them up and play yorself correctly.
I've tried this as well. Even though when you load the game your player won't have all 20's it doesnt really matter, they still have amazing ratings and if the Current Ability is set to 180 or higher the player will still be unbeleivably good.
I made a super striker and he got 75 goals in his first season. You cant get much more super than that.
