I used ARTMONEY to alter a players ability above 200,290 to be precise.It does seem to work,but i am not sure there is a difference between 200(normally the highest possible)
Does anyone know if there is a difference and if it effects the player?

It is likely that the effect will work (just like MCFM is able to boost player stats to 127.
Although, the long term effects of this show that the stats fall right back (and then below their previous value).

Dan, why is that? Is this also the case when i give a player which had 150 ability, an 190 ability?
So if i change this with artmoney, it is not going to last? If so,is this also the case for progs like MCFM ?

In my experience player stats only fall back or decrease after editing when you have edited the player's stats to be too good for their current ability. The game ensures that player's stats are suitable for their current ability.
For example, if you edited a player so that FM displayed all his stats as 20's, yet you left him with a current ability of 100, his stats will fall back to a reasonable level for someone with a CA of 100.
If you had changed his CA to 200, his stats will fall back again (A CA of 200 isn't high enough for stats of 20 across the board). When his stats fall back, they will be reasonable for someone with a CA of 200.
The point I guess I'm trying to make is that if you edit someone's stats and give them a reasonable CA to keep those stats, then they shouldn't fall back. This generally means with MCFM, that only 1 or 2 high-range stats above 20. The stats that are low-range (b/w 1 - 20) are not considered when determining the appropriateness of a player's stats with regard to their current ability. So you can make a super athlete with perfect physical stats, though from time to time physical stats do decrease and increase.
If none of that made sense, just remember that stats must be reasonable to a player's curent ability. Hope this helps and makes sense.

I've just tried the CA/PA to beyond 200 and it really works a treat! Has anyone ever had any adverse effects on the game from doing this (ie, game crashes, stats taking a steep tumble, etc)?
