HOW CAN I ADD REGEN PLAYER IN FM2006
AS FM2005.
I HAVE FINd THE TOPIC ABOUT "Add Yourself Into The Game!"
BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY PATCH.EDT IN MY FM2006 GAME FOLDER

YOU CAN'T ADD A REGEN PLAYER.
THEY'RE ADDED BY THE GAME.
CREATE ANY FILE IN THE DATA\DB DIRECTORY (CALL IT PATCH.EDT IF YOU WANT). THE GAME WILL RECOGNISE IT ALL THE SAME.
P.S. WHY DO YOU HAVE THE CAPS LOCK ON???

Can you tell me the detail as I have creat a edt in DAta/DB and start an new game and run for 2 years still cannot find one regen player for my edt where i have make sure it has turned on

You can add a regen player by adding a config to the faceinthegame edt file. Though you can't choose when he is created, and you'll need to start a new game. Open it in wordpad and just copy one of the entries that is already there. You'll need an image too.

Oops, sorry. It seems that file doesn't exist.
Look for this file instead:
data\graphics\pictures\players\regens\config.xml
Open it in notepad, and you'll see it has lines like:
<record from="5371" to="graphics/pictures/person/jonny paterson 3-10/portrait"/>
Copy this, and add your own.
The 5371 refers to the image. There is a file in that folder called 5371.png. Make your picture and give it a number (eg 5372). Then, your name in lower case. The 3-10 refers to the birthday (no year is supported). So that's 3rd October. Just change your line to be the correct day.

its seems doesnt work with me
i have edit the config.xml in the regen folder with all players name in lower case but none of my player appears after 3 years, is there any other method to test if the regen player is in the database

its really doesnt work at all.
i have run the game to 2017 but none of my player put in the config exit once.
