Is it totally none-accessable (protected), or is it "just" very difficult?
Is there someone who can make such things?

Annother hardcoded thing as far i know is League sizes.
I want to expand premie division with 2 or 4 teams, because i like very hard programs. It was actually posible with the CM2 editor!!!

Hardcoded meaning not editable.

To me, softcoding is something which can be altered. Such as the database and settings files.

can you eksplain why it was posible in cm2? i played back in those days with 25 (!) teams in the PD, (I just promoted the best from first division and so on...)

Because the game has undergone several code iterations since that time including a complete overhaul for CM4.

I played the very first game and you could do lots in that but it doesn't mean that you can now. In CM2 you could change the date and lots of things as well.

It's illegal to hack into hardcoded things now anyway, I believe.

Makes the game harder for other companies to copy too (not in a CD burning sense) I think.
