Servers go down all the time. It doesn't always mean that something's going to happen.

For me it kills the fun..i prefer to search for good players not to some program to tell me who to buy

Its great for testing purposes but for playing...whats the point?
Well, one part of the fun is performing miracles with smaller clubs. And, really only way(exept playing 24/7) to do that is to cheat just a little bit. Using scouting prog to find that promising youngster or almost-star rotting in some clubs reserves can be fun.

Of course, if you base your whole game on finding best players with scout prog... well, that I cannot understand. But when you really really need that goalkeeper an you're out of cash and luck. It brings the fun back. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Another way i use it is if you play as a national manager. Makes it so much easier to find all your players from that one nation, especially if you're not very familiar with that country

I'm licking my lips at maybe the prospect of Mr (Greatness) Nygreen releasing the dearly beloved FM Scout for the 2006 game...I just cannot get into FM2006 without the program...i guess i'm a fat cheater (anyone who critises me LIKE YOU'VE NEVER CHEATED IN ANYWAY!!)
I hope it will be put on his lovely website...! fingers crossed!!

i think the demand for FMscout just goes to show how badly the scouting module on FM needs to be improved.
