Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Possible Training Bug ?!

Hello everyone,

Before i started my season i created training schedules both for senior and youth teams. It appears that the schedules are a bit too hard for them to handle because im getting a bit too many injuries, for example carrick has gotten his second chest injury in gym and the game suggested that i might have to revise his schedule.

But there is the problem, I tried adjusting the workload slider for each position (both senior and youth) but it always gets back to where it was when i first created these schedules. So basically i just cant edit them - after i move the slider to left a bit, save the game, then hit space then check training schedules - the slider is at the same place it was...

now is that a bug or i just dont know how to save those schedules properly ?

My personal experience is that training seems to have little or a negative effect in season 1...but in future seasons it magically gets much much more posative...not sure why, perhaos it's the players adjusting to it or something?

Eliam, I'm not running FM07 now, but try creating a schedule for just Carrick with his name? Does that reset? I altered all my schedules last night and they did not reset, so it does sound like a bug. Have you checked the patch list to see if it is in there? Might be worth doing a find in the bugs forum.

Oh, forgot to say, it might just be that Carrick is being overworked in one of the top two sliders, the fitness and other one, try lowering them and taking the slack up with the other sliders.

Yes but it doesnt matter, since whenever i move the slider, hit space and go back to the training section - its as it was before editing

Then problem with the intensity slider is a known bug that is fixed in the patch.

Just edit the tactics with the other sliders (not intensity) and it works fine.
