I'm in my second season as Liverpool. Won the PL in first season on the last day, playing different versions of 4-4-2 for home & away.
Doing OK in second season until November, when I start to lose to teams which create far fewer chances than me. E.G. vs. Middlesboro, I create 17 shots on target, Middlesboro create 3 on target. Score = I lose 1-2.
This contnues to happen. Opposition goalkeeper performs heroics every game.
Any suggestions??

same here mate your not alone i get it all the time playing with man utd
west ham a 1-1 1 shot on target to 17, 8 one on one's missed
west ham a (cup) 3-2 3 shots on target to 14
newcastle h 1-1 1 shot on target to 14

Have a look at this link: Can score, won't score
Basically you are being seen as one of, if not, the biggest team in the league so the AI has adjusted its tactics to suit. You will face a lot of closing down which will limit you to long shots, these are easier to save so the goalie gets a great score. They will also tend to counter attack and scoe on the break. Will realistic, it is a pain in the bum.
Have a look in the "important links" t the top for other articals which may help break them down.

the shots i have are one on ones not long shots. the ai goalkeeper get man of the match 2 out of 3 games
i just lost 5-0 to liverpool and there keeper got mom
the important links are just other peoples quess work tbh

| I'm out of ideas, not had this happen to me since 06, then I dropped my striker back into the reserves and replaced him for a month. He came back and started scoring again. "I guess" that this version does take into account strikers going through a lean patch as it generates so many news reports on players breaking their goal drought. 26 hours is the longest I have seen reported.

I saved a screen shot of that as I could hardly beleive it, only 17 matches by my calculation!
