I can't find explanation on this.


What is the meaning and usage of "SHOW FOOT ONTO" tabs in tactics screen ?
The choice is Left foot, Right foot and Weaker foot"



Also, what does "Hold up ball" really does ?

Hold up ball, is used to tell players to use their strength to shield a ball and hold it giving other players time to come and support them. Good instruction for targetmen.

Show onto foot...is to use one of your players to force the AI's player to use his weaker foot to cross or pass. This is commonly used by fullbacks on wingers..when they close them down and prevent them from crossing using their stronger foot. This requires you to go a check on your opposition to find out their preferred moves or preferred foot to cross

Show onto foot means if, for example, you select left, it will make your players try to force him touse his left foot. Personally i always use "weaker foot" for this.

As to Hold up Ball, I think it means that the player you've selected will hold up the ball as everybody else runs up to allow your team more time to make an attack.
