Okay guys, one of my first new topic posts here so go easy on me!
Seeing as the exams are over for now, I've decided to try and set up a tactical test thread to analyse the different traits present in our tactics.
I've read some of these test threads before and I feel that the purpose of this thread is slightly different. Whereas the aforementioned(sp?) threads had the purpose of finding the best tactics available the intended purpose of this thread is to allow people who do not want to create their own tactics to have a place where they can see the traits of tactics created by other people before they use them in their game. (I will however rank the tactics just to see which ones are faring the best.)
For example someone might want to use a 4-4-2 system that simply scores shedloads of goals without any consideration for defence, whereas someone else may want a 5-3-2 system that concedes as little goals as possible.
I will post the results on these boards and I will gives links to more accurate results(individual game screenshots etc...) on my blog.
This is a rough draft of the test criteria. If your interested in participating please give some suggestions on how to alter these criteria or just send me on your tactic for assessment.

Manager will take charge of Middlesbrough go on holiday from day 1 until the 30th of November(~14 games and a couple of LC games)

I will set up the tactic as described and tell the assman to always use this tactic

No sales or purchases can take place

Then I will let the game run and post the results on these forums and then post a more detailed analysis (screenshots of games, individual player settings etc...) on my blog

I will also give a ranking of each tactic in order of points/most goals scored/fewest goals conceded/whatever else people would like to see on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
I chose Boro' because I feel that they have a good quality of player for every position but I will change this to a different team if anyone has a better idea(Also open to the idea of using different leagues/countries)
This is a very rough draft at the moment so please give some feedback and we'll see can we get this up and running. Later on today, I will get the ball rolling with a tactic I created called "long hope" which I have tested in accordance to the above criteria.
