I have got so frustrated with FM that I have decided to post my tactic up with proof of matches. It might be something I'm doing wrong with my tactic but if you look at match stats yourself, you will wonder how I don't win games we clearly dominate.
I have used the same tactic with different players and teams and still I get the same out come. Don't get me wrong some of the time we really do thrash teams. I've beating Inter Milan 4-1 with same tactic and similar team below. Games I do win I struggle to even though I'm peppering the opposing goal. 98% games we have at least double the amount of shots on target. The Tactic- -The Instructions
Match 1
This is just a random match I picked out against a good team. Dominate everything on the pitch but got a draw.
Match 2
This is a start of a poor run despite the domination in the game. The match before this I beat Inter Milan at home 4-1 which to be honest was a tight game.
Match 3 (game after match 2)
Poor finishing on our part but when you have still hit the target 11 times to your opponents 5 you except a city win or at least a draw.
Also majority of the games I have lost that I dominated the opposing keepers got man of the match which is not surprising. It is very very unrealistic in my opinion when its happening allot of the time during the season. The above matches is just an example its not all of the matches this has happened to me. I don't mind loosing if I have deserved it or if its a one off but its not as you can see.
I have tinkered with this tactic allot of times after getting the same out comes, I noticed when I close down often we seem to create even more chances but then get allot of injuries. Changed the tempo's too. I'm running out of ideas.
Is there something I am doing wrong or is it showing there maybe a glitch in FM?
Try focus passing through wherever the players with less acceleration and less pace are e.g. if opponent has this player left,try focusinf your passing through right flank and have this player closed down always!!Found just out this works a treat..!!And wherever opp.manager moves this player change and focus your passing accordingly!!
