How to interpret game engine? What does the opponent do?
First of all I would like to appologise for my english becuse it is not my first language (as a matter of fact I have to drag my wife out of the sofa to help me write this, I didnt like the idea of making a fool out of my self).
I think there`s been to litle focus on explaining the difrent data information we have available during the match, as was the case in 07 (especially thanks to wwfan for that). I was not motivated writing this topic before Cleon started his topic "The Watch My Game - Project". I figured out that this forum would be much more reflected if some of us could ask questions about this part of the game.
Questions like: "what does the opponent do, are they playing defence or atacking, direct or ballpossession, high press or low press" and so on.
It would been nice if people could share their experience in what they search for in identifying what opponent does, and possibly how to avert this.
I can start by asking: how do you enterpret the graphic column that indicates ballpossession on the field? What do you do when your opponent has to much ballpossession on your own half? Do you try moving the defence line up to play more attacking to limit the opponents ballpossession on your own half, or other way round? How to interpret the oppenents ballpossession on different parts of the field? Could ballpossession on the different parts of the field be an indication on how the oppenent plays?
Thanks to all that takes the time to join this debate.
