Definately overrated, i dont agree with you about being the key polayer for croatia as there are many others who are playing awesome aswell (corluka, Srna, Eduardo)

And Kranjar too, he's their best player
IMO
I had him at Athletico and he was nothing special, 4th choice winger, left for Fulham. I signed him back after Fulham got relagated. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Kranjcar?? Now I really like Kranjcar since he left Dinamo for Hajduk ( I'm a fan of NK Zagreb and I really dislike Dinamo), but he is not even close to Modric. He is a bit more creative, and perhaps has slightly better technique and flair, but in all other areas, Modric is much better. Faster, stronger (that's an odd one, but it's true), better dribbler (mostly because he has quicker reactions, not better technique), higher work rate, better defensive abilities... and many croatian fans actually think that Kranjcar is the weakest link in the team. Anyway a game against Russia really showed how much there is difference between Modric and Kranjcar. Modric won all of his duels, while Kranjcar lost most of his.
Now while I could even agree with Modric's CA in game (although I feel it should be in the range of 160), his PA by my humble opinion should be between 175 and 185, and I think that Kranjcar has PA somewhere along that line, though I'm not sure.
