Scotia, I cant take over at Leeds, its one club I would not take over, IRL or FM. I was at uni at Huddersfield in 98-01 and remember the derbies of those days and the cup tie in 99 (if i recall) where Huddersfield fans, and bystanders were spat on and had things thrown on them by travelling (police escorted) Leeds fans on their way to the McAlpine. Ever since then, i've wanted bad things to happen to that club, and so its happened.

I apologise if you are a supporter and certainly hold nothing against you personally mate. ;-)

Well have a go in the premier league itself but with smaller teams. Like Brough, Sunderland, Derby, Wigan etc. And also, set yourself a maximum amount that you can spend on any 1 player. Say 7M for example. And maybe something like you can buy a maximum of 2-3 players a season. For every subsequent player you buy, you have to sell 2 players (1 from main team and 1 from reserves say). Go to the challenges forum and have a look through some of the challenges and see how you get on. You can still have a lot of fun that way. :thup:

The mighty Norwich City!!! not much money and a hopeless squad they'll give ya a challenge! i somehow won championship in first season. finished 14th then 11th in prem now just started 4th season aiming for europe

Have a crack at dafuge's challenge. Try taking a club that's promoted to the Conference North/South at the end of the first season to Premiership and Champions League glory.

you could try going a reasonable team in scotland or england but only using either scottish or english players, i tried it at hibs and its interesting to see how the old firm poach the best from me as in real life!
