I would say Man City. Good squad and money.

Bolton may not have tons of money, but you can get £8 million if you adjust budgets. And you get a good challenge of managing the sometimes temperemental Anelka and Diouf. There are other great players like Nolan and Jaaskelainen and er... well that's part of the challenge. I'm not the best manager but my Bolton team has come 2nd and 3rd season, so it's not impossible to challenge for the title. Plus, you can keep yours truly company on the Bolton thread!

possibly. one problem is i have the transfer update (please dont ask where i got it because i cant find it anymore :S)
so no anelka at bolton, alot of the clubs have some random players so could be good.

bearing in mind everyone has their new players..

Only adds to the challenge and the sense of satisfaction you get if you do well.

true true. i want to do one where i dont get bored on the previous fm i had two games one with man city and one with everton which i took to 2027ish when all my original players had retired then i gave up. but i havent started a game yet where ive got anywhere near that addicted. on average they last until 2012 then i win the league and then get bored for some reason.

i've just lost for the first time in 20 games with arsenal so im not happy that i have to start again to beat the record lol so i might start a new one tonight, but really not sure who i feel like being. bolton never strike me as a team i would enjoy managing

I suppose when you've won everything you lose motivation for playing. I've only had two games when I've carried on after winning everything and they were Bolton on CM4 and Toulouse on FM 07. Of course it's your choicee who to manage but I would recommend you give Bolton a try, I won't hold it against you if you don't like it... honest!
