I've made up my mind, will sell Biglia, Marin, Puyol, Marquez and Eto'o. THey should fetch quite a sum. Richards cost 45 million and is coming, together with Barazgli. Keeping Yobo as a backup. Will try to get Garay too. trying to get De Silvestri for 20 + million. Xavi is doing well actually, scoring scorchers from distance. will keep him until the rest of the season. Ronaldinho is doing well, but will sell him at the end of the season. Will probably get Fernandez or Guardado in.
For strikers, i'm trying to get either Benzema or Cavani. Will update soon. One thing's for sure, this will be a busy transfer window!

Woah, damn man it is an ageing squad. Didn't you invest in youngsters at the start?
Anyhow, I can't give any better advice than what's given already, so post your team after your transfers and we'll see if you need any more improvement |

um, i took them over in September, after Rijkaard left for Inter(silly man)
then i saw their squad and was like 'WHAT THE'
Amazingly, i have lost 1 game in 11. With 3 draws. My tactic with 2 strikers seems to be working. thanks for your tactic teeyougee, looks like a real Barca tactic really.

Woops, I shoulda read before posting. Thought you've been Barca from the start.
Yeah I thought he was a better manager than that.
No problem, though I didn't make the tactic, using someone else's lol.
Good luck

i know, thanks for directing me to it anyway.
Richards and Barzagli coming in, defense should be solid. My tactic's working currently, so I'll use it for the moment, as from what i've read, your tactic needs a little getting used to. I'll wait till end of the season.
Money is no option, as this is the Jan Transfer Window, and MONEY TALKS BABY!
Biglia is leaving for 19.25 million, after 4 years of faithful service. It was either you or Barusso. Sorry Biglia. Barusso seems good to me.
Marin is leaving for 4.8 mil(stupid release clause)
And will somebody buy Jiminez, MArquez and Puyol? Puyol's going for free!

Update: the transfer budget is now 75 mil, with Barzagli and Richards entering, Big chunk, but i'm still loaded. Keep in mind this is January.
As for next season, Barca are loaded, so i'll still have a warchest(i expect Ronaldinho to fetch a lot)
Anything goes! Now i need another Centre back. Zapata and Garay wont come, and Arsenal wont let Djourou leave.Albiol is at Valencia, so he'll be way over expensive. Who is Tuia?

Alessandro Tuia. Starts at Torino. I think he's a -9. Becomes pretty good. But wait till next season and I'm sure Zapata & Garay will be happy to come. As for Albiol, depending on your luck, he'll have a low release clause. I know he signs one for about 15M quid in season 2. Might still have it. I'd suggest you check at all Spanish clubs and look for the release clauses of all good CB's at various clubs. You might find one with a lowish release. I would seriously recommend waiting for Zapata or Djourou though. Both brilliant.
As for Jiminez, just play him in a few of your smaller matches. He's a good player anyway and if he does well (as he should), he'll maybe attract the attention of a few clubs.
As for Barzagli, you reckon it was wise getting him? He'll be 30-31 as well no?

but if he's class, he'll last me a coupla more years. Yobo is 31, but amazingly his pace is 18, and his stats have not decreased. Ronaldinho is doing just fine. Besides, i inserted a clause to pay Milan 13.5 million after 50 league games. I don't reckon I'll play him for that many.
