Briand is fine from the start dude. He'll be more than good enough to slot straight into your first-team. Wont need any time as such to settle in. Pandev is great too but not sure how much he'll cost. He usually attracts interest from the top clubs so its hard to get him cheap.

Briand has a PA of 170 in my game, is that what he usually has or is it too low? I can pretty much forget Pandev or Fred, their teams are asking for more than 20mil.

Briand's PA is fixed at 170. So yes, there are loads that are much better in terms of CAs and PAs, but he performs very well.

I guess I'll go for Briand, just a shame I lost my star player after 4 games ( and he helped me win against Chelsea and ManU )

id negotiate with lyon and you'll be able to get fred for about £19m.

Also look at gyan, marica, podolski. They would all be within your budget easily, but id go all out for fred

Good choice. Briand is brilliant.
I never bought him before, didn't look too great plus his PA isn't too high.

But I finally bought him in season 1 with Man City and I finished 2nd in the league 2 years running mainly thanks to him.

1st season he played 47 scored 51 assisted 18.
2nd season he played 58 scored 55 assisted 27.
Just started 3rd season, he played 3 scored 7 assisted 1. He scored a hat-trick against Man Utd in the Community Shield as we went 5-0 up in the 1st half (won the match 5-2 though).

And I only paid £11.5M! What a bargain

Oh and I should add - he barely gets injured too he missed a couple games in my 1st season, and something like 3 in my 2nd season.

So get rid of injury prone Owen
