Nope. I used to when I was younger, but stopped doing this when CM01/02 came out and haven't done it since after I realised that I got far more enjoyment out of the game without reloading.
Plus figuring out where you went wrong makes you a better player overall, which leads to less mistakes anyway :p

goals going in that missed (ie rolled down the outside of the net)
stupid offside decisions (ie the match engine does not know that if the ball hits an opponent if plays everyone on side)
more than 1 x 35 yarder screamer per game.
more than 1 goal scored by the ai that takes more 7 bounces of the opponent (unless I score 1 like it too, which is never)
The list is endless, and it takes a long tome to play some matches, ie up to 3 or 4 attempts, before you get one with no defective code in it. But, it keeps me happy :-)
| Do you also do the same when weird AI benefits you? In lots of matches the team who deserves to win does not win.

Can't see the value in cheating, so no I've never done it.

No but I often get very tempted to do it. Especially when I dominate a match and only get a draw or lose. But that would take away the enjoyment of winning anything at the end of the season.

I've probably done it only once or twice since CM01-02. It ruins games for me. Once I do a reload, I just can't play that game anymore. I know that I've cheated to achieve the result, so the dynasty is tarnished.
In CM01-02 I was pretty bad about this. People on this forum yammered incessantly that there were no such things as "superkeepers" and that my shots on target were low quality. Umm, that's fine and all - but the match engine was telling me things like "He can't miss!," etc. Fine - maybe it's a bug in the commentary, not the match engine. Either way, I couldn't stand the games where I'd have 20 shots on target and go scoreless.
So, I was once bad about this - but now never do.

There's no point in cheating. You can't say that what you are getting with the team is because fo you, because you reached that result cheating.
I don't like cheating in games..it's nicer to win because you know you won by your means .
And, as we talk about the realism of FM, how much realistic is to erase a game and to go back in time to play the game (unless someone of you has a time machine in his room of course)

Yes, thats why it takes so long to play a match. Problalby restart as many won games as lost games (or pretty close), and do not win much.
For example I just restarted a Everton-Liverpool match (CC Match) that I won 2-0, becuase 1 goal definately did not go in and the other was a ridiculous 45 yearder. Wish I had not as I lost 5-2 when replyed, but no bugs in that one unfortunately :-(

^How realistic is it for any of us to actually manage a real football club? Or some teens taking charge of clubs like Juve, Madrid, Barca?
It's a game, people can play it anyway they want to.
I've done it before a few times in 07, but haven't done it so far in 08 and probably won't.

| WRONG. That rule only applies if it's a passback. In the case of a deflection the offside goes from the original pass. The amount of people that are not aware of this rule is ludicrous.
