Hi,

I bought this game because I love football, but I've never played anything like this before.

I can't even figure out how to accept a job. I decided to be in the Italian serie, and didn't start out with an assigned job. In the "Jobs" screen, I can click on one of many jobs listed, but all it seems to do is bring up a list of players?

What do I do? Where do I start?

Is there a tutorial somewhere that I'm not currently seeing?

Thanks for the help, I'm very excited to play but very frustrated.

There is a help and tutorial option on the toolbar at the top of your squad screen- run your mouse slowly over the icons to see what they do.

You can't just take an available job you would have to apply for jobs and hope you get one. You can find out the available jobs by going to the Job Centre (Should be in the Manager menu I think) and if you click on one of the teams there it will take you to their squad.

There should then be an Apply For Job option on the bottom left.

If you are only running one division then there may not be any jobs available. You can always retire (in Manager menu somewhere) and create a new user (CTRL N) and choose what team you want to manage from there.

The jobs you talk about are jobs for scouts, physios, coaches, etc. You can't take these jobs, you can only be a manager. Find a club which is looking for a manager, click on their name (which'll open their list of players), and in the bottom left you should see the option "Apply for Job". Click on this, and, if all goes well, they'll offer you a contract.
