International Call Ups - Drastic Improvement Needed.
In my opinion, one area of the game that is, to an extent, widely overlooked in regard to improvement is the calling up (or not) of certain players.
Here are a couple of screenshotted examples.
The current England squad.
An England call up for a player that has made 1 sub apperance for his club and is stuck in their reserves?
Yet again, 1 start and 13 sub appearances is enough to earn a call up?
And finally, an example of a player not getting an International Call Up.
I'm sorry, but how exactly do those stats not warrant a call up? Considering the other 4 strikers in the Argentina squad are not in any of their respective clubs' first team, and are not playing regularly whilst Aguero plays week in week out, it becomes a bit comical in all honesty.
Anyway, feel free to feedback with positive or negative opinions.

the ai managers know what the potential ability of players are, so they are giving them a chance, i agree with you though, my advice is to snap them up as they must be good?

Whether a player gets called up is decided by CA/PA and reputation. Current form and being in the match squad seems to have no effect whatsoever. I guess those four Argentines who are picked in front of Aguero have a bigger reputation.

I see, surely this should be rectified to consider both reputation and current form then? In fact, AI managers should prioritize form over reputation (in my opinion).

Maybe. It depends really; for the strongest national sides, form should probably be the most important factor (within reason), but coaches of lesser sides will often call up players who are in poor form or can't get a game for their clubs, simply because they are the best option they have.
