I'd quite like to start a new game before the Patch comes out but im aware there may be problems with certain leagues such as fixtures not being produced after certain seasons etc.

Which ones should I avoid?

IIRC, this was only a problem if you continued from the Demo, or downloaded an illegal copy of the game. I also wouldn't go using In-Game editors either, as these are usually a lot of reasons games go corrupt.

If you like to play long games lasting several years, then you should probably avoid MLS. It's fine for a few seasons, though.

Scotland, Spain and Germany I think.

In the Spanish league its quite rare when you play a season and you B & C teams dont unregister them selves.
