Hi, i've been playing fm with no problems on vista for a couple of months, but suddenly today it simply won't load - when i get to the "new game... etc" screen, a message comes up saying the disk isn't in the drive, when it certainly is. I've tried a different game and it works, so i presume there is something wrong with the CD.
Anyone know what the problem is???

Anyone? Someone (maybe from SI) must know what the problem is, and (hopefully) how to fix it.

I can't believe a CD that is always in its case when not being used on a brand new laptop can have been damaged!

Help please!

Yeah only downloaded 8.01 a few days ago, but it still worked until today.

you haven't really given enough details to work it out

if you suspect it is the CD then try it at a mates house
