Why did I (cardiff) get higher match confidence for beating Halifax Town 4-0, than for beating Man U 2-1?

Probably depsnds upon your morale going into the games themselves.

i think iti is flawed..and i am going to give you an example..it treats every opponent the same..i mean..i am otelu (romania) usually mid table IRL...i bring them to their first Ch League participation...there i play real madrid..and i lose 2-1 away...i said thank you lord after the game..but not the fans...at the monthly report..this was the only defeat..and the board said...we're happy....but the fans are very dissapointed aboaut the 2-1 loss vs real madrid...i mean..there should be a difference between losing against real madrid and losing against a lower league team for example...

Its bugged but here's a reason why it could be...
You created four chances in ther Halifax game - so the fans were delighted that you finished them all. In the Man Utd game, you made 50 chances and only scored two, so they weren't as happy as they could have been.
I know thats wrong but that sums up the confidence feature unfortunately.

| Agreed. But yes, I've noticed the same when I beat AC Milan with Bari, I got less confidence than when I beat Lecce 2-0!
