Default Does it make a difference in the future-staff-role interaction?

For example, I have a FC aged 34, and it shows that he hasn't decided what to after retirement. So what if I constantly claim that he will fit as a coach?
Is it an effecive way or simply a waste of effort?

p.s. My 33-year-old GK says he would like to take a LESS TRADITIONAL job after retirement, what would fit him?
