Playing as Vojvodina, it's 2017-18 season. We're the dominant force in Serbian football, regulars in the latter stages of the CL and have won it once. Most of the original players now pretty old, my squad is aging fast. I have about 8 scouts scouring the globe but it's very rare they turn up anybody at all. If, for example, I scout England, they'll come up with Fabregas and Essien. Well thanks, I never knew about those guys. If I scout less well known nations I get nothing. I'm mostly interested in finding potential, but so far getting very little. Is there a technique to this!? My scouts all have decent judging ability and potential ratings.

Also, out of interest, do you get money for league positions in the big leagues (you get 0 in the Serbian Superleague)? I want to sign young players as I never will have the budget of the big boys no matter how well my team does.

i always search for players under 25 and send another scout out for players between ages of 15 and 20 a scout for every position but i always have like 10 scouts wherever i go lol

regens are crap infm08. i have no idea why they changed it from 07, apart from the determination problem i used to get stunning regens

I have a very similar problem. I created a thread about it some weeks ago now, and got brushed off.

I'm Knockbreda of N. Ireland, and despite winning the league and Domestic Cups for about 15 seasons straight, My scouts find very few people. Im in 2028 now, but he either brings back 30+ Average players, or Under 21's with poor potential.

In lesser nations he finds very, very few people (1 to 4 max), and in big nations he finds old people only. Also, for nations outside the EU, he finds truck loads of players, but I can't sign any, as they never get work permits.

Also, as were on a scouting note, Why does sometime my scout just "Stop".?

I can only afford 3 scouts, and they all have great JA/CA stats, but every now and then I'll send one on a mission, and 6 months later it still says its "6 days" into the assignment. This is infuriating if I forget about him ..!!

I think one problem to consider is as you take your club forward and improve it by bringing in higher quality players for your side so shall the amount of recommendations your scouts submit naturally decline.

Just as a little example, in my most recent attempt at Newcastle before being let go for succeeding and then some to achieve the boards expectations within their 'plan' my scouts were begining to return with less and less high recommendations or even none at all as a result of the comparison scouts automatically make to the players of the same position currently within your squad
