suddenly there player makes a powerful , curling effort from 35 yards out
which goes in.

you go to look at the scorers attributes
and he has long shots of 12!!!!

now suddenly you need a goal
and coincedentally
time starts to speed up,stopping for a highlight once in a while

it is now stppage time
and the game grants u another higlight

ur player is advancing...
now adjacent to the penalty box on the wing
about to put a cross in the box

ur hoping for a goal

guess what happens
the whistle goes for full time

On a regular basis I find myself screaming "Isn't that f***ing convenient!!!" when the clock runs down to the full whistle without any highlights when I'm losing, yet is non stop highlights of the opposition attacking in the last 10 minutes when I'm winning.

My FM outbursts have caused family and friends to question my sanity

I hate that more than any other comment. Ever.

It's infuriating when, every goal you concede is the players first of the season, or first for the club

the thing i hate most in the game is when
player pace out ur players and u go to check their attributes and it is lower than ur players

the same goes for long shots

and the ability the AI strikers wen it comes to finishing every chance they get,
when ur strikers have much better attributes ,but cant do the same

i love fm
but i really hope they fix these match engine bugs

I feel your pain disasterd

Sometimes the random element of this game seems to make attributes/morale/condition irrelevant and can drive you insane. It also often feels like this random element is biased towards the AI (I'm not saying this is the case, just that this is how I feel when FM frustrates the hell out of me).

The difference between FM and real life is that in FM we can blame the game for these random things going against us. It's someone (or something?) we can point the finger at and accuse of cheating whereas in the real world you just accept these 'just wasn't my day' experiences as part and parcel of football. Or you take your frustration out on the referee
