Once you have put your skin into CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\skins Load up your game,then go into Options / Preferences / Skin. In there it should have a wee drop down box,with all yuor skins you already have.All you do is just pick the skin you want then press confirm. the screen will go dark for a few seconds then your skin will be up.

For facepacks you have to go into CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\graphics\pictures\players in there you will see different countires,like eng,ita etc.
now you have to go into whatever country you want.
so say you have a man utd facepack you would go into eng,then make a new folder called Premiership. If you already have the folder called Man_utd with youre facepack,thats fine,but if not,make another folder in Premiership called man_utd,then jusy pop your faces in there. Re load your game,they should be there.

I did that but the only options for the skin are Metalic and Matalic Right.
