Iv managed to edit club finances but that was before i had even heard of 'tables' through just searching for the value and changing it in the game, then editing it.
I have also edited soemthing using these tables by fluke. I really dont understand how to use it.
e.g. Wanting to edit current ability of a player. I loaded the table into artmoney and searched for the player id. Clicked on the player id on the right hand side and then an address on the left. The correct player id will come up for every value on the left if you do it this way so how are you supposed to know which address is the correct address to edit? Especially when there is something like 800 values that comes up when you search for Frank Lampard's player id?
Surely you are not supposed to go through every address on the left???
I am sure there are plenty of other people who feel the same as i do. It is obviously a very technical tool and very confusing to use if you ask me.

However, looking at both of these threads as i had prior, even though they try to explain how to use it, it is not clear at all.
Could anyone explain how to narrow the list of addresses on the left in artmoney down?
The filter option can't be it as i am not changing a value if searching for a player id.

Hi there I had same problem. But now with help from other on here managed to work out the money side, i am still stuck on the player stats though. Any way for the money thing. 1st download the art money programe and also the tables. Then load your game up. Have it windowed in preferences so it makes it easier. Then load art money. Now go to load or open and find the clubs-finances file which you have just downloaded. Open it. Now you will see on the right side the finance table. In the pull down selct process space select FM2006 Then go to search. And in vaule type your clubs balence. Say your clubs balance.(go to your game and financies. One its found a few on left side. if its not alot then click the green arrow symbol to move them to the right side. you will see in vaule the exact current balance. No to find out which one is for your club just go down each one and change it slightly. ie if it say 1000000 change it to 1000001 after each change go to your game and check if it has changed. Once you have found the one thats for your club you can change it to which ever one you want. The address of the vaule will be for your club. eg 034A0F8A when you search for other things like tranfer budget when lots come in left list just look down it for 034 this will be the one you want. So just click green arrow to move it to right then change to what you want. Alway go between game and artmoney to see it works. Also make sure you save your game as another file for a back up just incase. Hope this makes it a little easier and not more confusing.

Changing the value of your clubs balance is simple though. You dont need tables to do it.
You search for your balance.. alter it in the game.. filter on artmoney by typing in the new balance.. and it should leave you only one or two addresses on the left so you can edit either. The one that changes it in the game is the address similar to what the address will be if you wanted to alter the transfer budgets. Total and remaining budgets will have similar addresses to the balance.
However using tables and searching player id's is totally different as what is there to modify value wise in the game to filter the results down?? The player id's never change.

It is a fairly simple response i need from someone who knows how to do it. How do you reduce the number of addresses found on the left. And how do you know when you have come to the correct address matching either your club, player or staff id?

Tricky. Here goes something that is hopefully straightforward.
Now, I don't know offhand Lampard's ID, but if it is something low (say, 20051) I will turn up a larger number of results than other IDs. You have two options:
1 Edit someone else's stats
2 Use the "Filter" button
I'm sure you know the filter button does a "search within" results for a value. What you want to do is filter (and re-filter) until you get a manageable nuber of results. It can sometimes help to "continue" in-game for a few days to potentially change the numbers.
And as for how to actually spot if the player turns up, you can look for 20s in the position(s) they play, and/or look for 100 on their stronger foot. Remember that you need the player ID row highlighted when you are pressing Alt+A on the results that appear on the left hand side.
HTH

Thanks for the response and i do understand what you meen.
However, when i am filtering will it not just bring the exact amount of results up? As i am not changing a value... the player id stays exactly the same or am i wrong??

Sometimes it will decrease the number of results, sometimes it won't. If his ID is a low number that could percievably be used for something else, that may change, so a filter will exclude it when it changes (this is why it is a good idea to click "continue" once or twice). You may only get it down to 40 in the end, but finding the right one from there is manageable.
BTW, you should be searching for a "custom" > integer 4 bytes (ie not 1 byte, 2 bytes etc). That may also help.
