ok so many ppl are witing for fm scout. to those ppl i say fair enough i will use it when it comes out but am happy to play the game until then.
However my thought is maybe an addition to scouting etc for future versions.
Basically potential ability (PA) and current ability (CA) have a huge bearing on the game.
Now how about if your scouts and coaches could give you an indication of this score. for example i dont think it would be unrealistic for a new manager to say to his assistant "give me your views on each player out of a score of 200 for current ability and their potential" The quality of answer you would get would depend on your assistants and coaches stats at judging player ability and player potential.
Now combine that with an idea i saw in another thread (sorry dont know whose idea it was) where you can send scouts to watch players over a period of time. so i.e scout a player once and only get a very rough view of his CA and PA, scout him for a month or a season then get a much better guide.
the problem is in real life
there is no such ability or potencia..
it is an idea that the scout has..
if it was going to be like that the scouts would never get it wrong
and you would always have and idea (even if on a 50 points interval) of the players..
it's mutch more realistic to buy wrong players bad ones..
this is hapening all the time
