Because they get repititive, childish and irritating and generally clog the place up for those who want to have some sensible discussion. Overload of useless information is as bad as none at all.
it has contained new such as the scout will be released before christmas, admittedly i did not put that information in. Besides i consider other peoples views TO BE VALUBLE information
No, according to what others say that news could be found on the website of the author. I repeat, nothing new has been said in any of the dozens of threads on the subject.
What is valuable about "I am losing heart", "I do not think it will happen", "don't use it, it is cheating", "WHEN WILL IT BE RELEASED" etc, etc, etc. and all the other gems contained in these posts?
Speculation, conjecture and irrelevant to SI. The authors website, if they have a forum (as they appear to from the posts) would surely be the appropriate place for countless repetitive posts on the subject? Certainly more appropriate than complaining about free speech on here!
where do you quote me saying NEW information has been added to my posts. I admit information has been taken from other sources. Yet this is the whole principle of these forums to inform those who don not know of these other sources
a) I never quoted you as saying "new information has been added to my posts". if you can find where I quoted that I'll be impressed.
You did however say "new such as the scout will be released before christmas". This has already been posted repeatedly ("before Xmas", there you go even I know and I'm not interested in the subject!) all over the bloody forums, and is usually followed or preceded by quite a lot of whinging.
If people did not already know from these forums this then they were never going to know as they were either not interested enough to read the myriad existing posts or if they do not know the author has a website they aren't going to be able to download it anyway!
Repitition for attention-seekings sake in my view.
