I'm trying to set up a database for a challenge and am hoping there is an easier way to do this.
What I want to do is to set up a league (for example, English Championship or Scottish First Division), with all clubs having the same facilities, coaches, etc having the same attributes, and all players being the same (i.e. each team has 4 strikers with the same attributes, etc).
The reason I want to set it up like this is so that I can allow people to truly test their tactics against each other since it would be the ONLY differentiating factor between the clubs. Make sense?
Anyway, is there a way I can create a club and 'clone it', the same for players, etc?
I'm hoping the answer is yes, but suspect it may be no. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I have to edit the players/clubs individually.
