Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

DEFENCE is infamous around these parts
Default Intense training

hi i have heard that you should not exceed medium intensity. I was wondering if i operate a squad of 44 players rather than the usual 22ish would i be able to train them harder as the wont be playing as many games.

I wouldn't stray more than one or two notches above medium, just because a guy injured for 8 months is still injured for 8 months, regardless of how few games he plays.

You're better off giving them plenty of reserve action than trying to train them too hard. There's a limit to how much a man can physically take during a week regardless of how many appearances he gets throughout the season.

And you still won't keep them match sharp without games, even if their stats are one or two numbers higher.
