Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default How to defend with a Semi-pro team?

I am in charge of conference north's harrogate. Small team no money semi-pro. So i have two qns.

First - How can i make my team fully pro so i can enjoy the benefit of full training?

Second - How can i make my team play to a plan such that i can defend for 45 mins without letting opponent score. What tatics should i deploy?

One the team will only become professional once the club reaches I think League 1. You can make them train full time by negotiating fulltime contracts, but the coaches will always stay on part time till the club becomes fully professional. This happens officially via an announcment.

Please read the rules about asking for tactics, I suggest you read the links there, there are plenty of ways to play. Myself, I've already taken a newly promoted side from conference to the premiership...and the information is already within the thread..so please do a search...simply speaking....focus on physical traits when you are in conference, slowly increasing it to technical traits in the premiership. In the conference every one is bad...you just want pace and power.
