just tested your tactics with my west ham team. the first game i used the stronghold tactic against pompy and drew 3 all, it seemed every time i scored they would rip my deffence apart and slot one home. the next game i went for the knock-out tactic against watford end came out with a 4-0 win, i moved the sweeper up to cb as i have never liked using sweepers and i dont really have anyone who i can trust to play there. Just out of intrest what made you decide to use a sweeper?

why I use a sweeper?

I had some problems with my defence, like from crosses etc. My sweeper seems to make many interceptions. On the other hand, I have problems with a def. line of three defenders. I don't manage to arrange the line so that is holds water. So, as the sweeper system works, I don't make changes.

it may just be a case of my defence not being too good. i may purchase a sweeper at christmas and see how it goes but at the moment its doing ok with a flat 3

Hi, i play with the same system but with a few diffeerences.

Change the sweeper to a DC with a barrow, this gives the left and right side DC a little more width to get across.

And i don't have a farrow on the DMC, this helps my team concede less.

I am Notts County and i concede 1.2 a game.
