Does anyone have the tactic that is used by ai managers, mainly the great ones like alex Ferguson?

Its a 4-5-1 formation, as soon as they play it the rest of the match is played out with little to nothing happening.

I want this tactic to use myself, i have tried creating my own, but haven't had much success.

yes i no what you are talking about and god would it be useful to have a tactic that when 1/2 goals up would basically guarantee the results but... i dont think there is a way of finding out ai tactics

I use this 4-5-1 when I want to shut-up shop.
It works against the big teams. Use your 2 DMC to mark the forwards (not man mark) and your ML/MR to man mark the wingers. Direct passing and counter attack. Try it with the player default settings and then tweak it to suit the players you have. Was winning against Barca with 10-15 mins to go and they went 4-2-4 (DL/DR man mark FL/FR with barrows on your wingers and with one DCM to man mark the best CF) they only had one half good chance on goal. I won 1-0.
