Yup Micah Richards would fit that position very well, he's fantastically versatile aswell.
If Lucas doesn't work for you then definetaly give Flamini a try, he can be a great player given enough games. He has the aggression, stamina and hard tackling that define Gattuso.

finally i pull the trigger on frabegas for 70m gbp straight as i promise with the fans to bring a star each season (sounds like real madrid) hehe  ... and keep develop lucas

Hi i am a Man Utd manager and my favourite for the DMc position is Zapater hi is cheap only 10 minl i think but has nice stats  good to help Glory Man Utd

Fabregas isn't a DM. Lucas, Sissoko and De Rossi are the best DMs after Gatturso.

Antonio Cerrajero.
Good tackling, marking, bravery etc and 20 aggression.
Media have likened him as the next Gattuso as well.
He's 16 at the start of the game, so he should be about 21 for your game. Perfect.

You are not likely to find another Gattuso. You are left with the following options:
A) Replace him with a similar type of player, but not as good(Sissoko, Cambiasso, Diarra etc.).
B) Replace him with a different type of player who has diffferent strengths (Lucas, Gago, de Rossi, Palombo, Alonso, etc.)
IF you opt for B I strongly suggest you re-think your tactics, if not your formation. Your style is has been dependent on Gattuso...if you don't have him, you will need a readjustment.
My favorite DM is Vincent Kompany. He is much more attack minded then Gattuso. Don't be afraid of retraining another player with the right attributes. If you find "the next Gattuso" and he doesn't happen to be a DM...re-train him! Don't limit your search to DMs!
