IMO De Rossi is your best bet. How many minutes are you giving Lucas because he really is the best DM in the game besides Gattuso. He should perform eventually.
Or you can try to find a regen..

will probably be 26-27, so a great age
aggression - 16
anticipation - 17
concentration 17
positioning 18
marking - 17
tackling - 17
i think it will be ok.

Thanks for all you suggestions. I think I will give Lucas more time to see if he grows more. His stats look potential, but maybe he is not given enough time to prove. I will make him 1st choice next season, with Gattuso and Pirlo backup.
Mascherano, De Rossi are very good, but they are 27, 28 already so it's still short term.

give lucas more time. if that doesn't work out then i'd get micah richards who is a great tackler, can win the ball in the air, is strong has a good work rate.
