I am Everton at, on the 8.0.1 patch at the start of the second season. I lose both Lescott and Yobo in January and have around £30m to spend on a centr back to partner Breno. I have targeted Corluka, Pique and Kompany but need help picking which player to buy. Pique was brilliant on FM07 but on FM08 Corluka is topdog. Any advice would be grate thanks

From these I would pick propably Corluka.

But maybe take a look at Zapata, Felipe (both Udinese) and David Luiz (Benfica). Cheers

Corluka or Pique, I don't think Kompany is as good on Fm 08 as FM 07.

Kompany is pure rubbish. Corluka is better at RB imo. So Pique wins by default. But I'd MUCH rather have Zapata, Djourou, Felipe (Udinese), Richards.

Out of your list it would be Pique but i'd rather have Zapata

Get Pigue & buy Benoit Costil(GK) in a few years u will have the best def. in the league

id pick corluka out of the list, but its a close one as pique is also very good. Kompany is a good player, but he isnt as good defensively as the other two.

I already have Richards playing at RB, he was my one big buy in the first season.

Any will do well but have a look at the likes of Johnny Evans, Craig Cathcart, Havard Nordtveit, Gianni Zuiverloon (sp), Youness Kaboul and Christopher Samba if you want slightly cheaper but promising players to mold.

i would personally go for pique after a few years he is amazing! but yeah zapata definately
