i have 2 young wing (both 18) back regens with pas of 188. would i get the best out of them if i played them in reserves and played them in cup games or sending them out on loan or playing as sub in 1st team.

I've found that sending them out on loan doesn't seem to work. I got Saivet & Wijnaldum at Arsenal and sent them out on loan to an affiliate club. I checked their stats after a couple of weeks and they had no arrows next to the stats showing they were increasing. I therefore recalled them and the same day they returned the arrows appeared.

Therefore if you got a good coaching team leave them in the reserves. Also give them some first team games against the weaker teams, even if it is only as subs.

ye but that might be because in fact they had improved and you cant see that while they are on loan. or maybe its coz affliates usually have rubish training facilities.

but i'll give the reserves a try and i'll play them at least 10 games a season.

The main reason for farming youngsters out, is to give them first-team experience.
Obviously if the loan team wants them for backup, or don't want them in the first place the guy isn't going to improve. As he won't get any games...

Make sure when you farm out players that they see them as "A valuable first team player" or similar
