From the Abobe Photoshop 7 CIB, pp554:
"Select a prepres default from the Settngs menu at the top of the dialog box (we used U.S. Prepress Defaults) and click OK."
The only settings I have in PS7.0 are Custom and Other.
According to my User Guide I'm suppose to have at least 8 other settings?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Its a while since I have been in the color settings dialog box,but if I remember rightly Randy there is an advanced option checkbox or similar,just check the sucker and your other options should pop up as well

Randy, you're talking about the Edit>Color Settings Shift-Ctrl/Cmd-K?

When I clicked Advanced Mode more options did pop up under the Dialog box, but the Settings options did not change.
Yes, I am talking about the Edit > Color Settings (Shft+Ctrl+K) for Windows.

If those didn't show up try reinstalling PS, if it didn't work call Adobe .

Thank you for that well illustrated answer!
My Color Settings does not look like that, I merely have Custom and Other as my Settings options, even when in advance mode.
I started with PS6, upgraded to 7, then again to 7.01.
Do I need to uninstall PS7.01, or do I just reinstall over it from the Adobe Photoshop 7 CD?

Thank you for the tip, I did indeed contact the NAPP Help Desk, and this is the reply. Hopefully, this will benefit others on this board as well.

"Hi Randy,
Pop in the Photoshop CD and start the installer. Elect to do a Custom
Install rather than an Easy Install. Check the box for ICC profiles and
click OK.
Okay, that's the simple answer. Now here's the real deal:
--You probably don't need the profiles that are installed by default.
--You should use Adobe Gamma to create a custom monitor profile. Load that
in Color Settings as the RGB profile.
--Use the profile(s) for your printer as the CMYK profile in Color Settings.
