hey im playin with patch and zarate is at 11.5 million and his club wont accept anything under that, but most people say they get him for 3 to 5 mill how and why??

Because only at the start you can get him for 3 million. As the season progresses, his value increases.

No idea why but in season 1, first window he easily comes for 3M or thereabouts. How? Well, I just bid 3M and they accept really.

As far as I can tell, if you run a large enough database that all of Al-Sadd's other players are active (i.e not grayed out) then they will not sell Zarate for less than his value. This has proven true for me in numerous tests.
