Ive had a £4.5mil bid for Hutton accpeted, and have bid £5.5mil for Eboue from Arsenal. Arsenal signed a new RB (Cassani) and Eboue is 4th choice (behind Cassani, Sagna, and Hoyte!) so i am hopeful, i would go for Eboue before Hutton! Igna has gone to Everton, ill look at Volz and the rest, cheers

EBOUEE!!! By a damn country mile! Offer him a little more than what he wants and get him. I hate him irl as he's a whiner and I hate him in the game as he's too negative. But he's still class. :thup:

The game is really tbh. Why in the world would Arsenal buy another RB when they have 2 great ones and 1 good one? Thats what really annoys me about the game that the AI transfers are so unrealistic and silly. I really hope SI come up with a solution to this in the next update. In my game, Madrid bought back Owen from Newcastle for 20M or so in season 1, Jan transfer window. And now start of season 2 he's a backup there ffs! Silly, to say the least.

Yup ^ Arsenal bought Guardado for 34M upfront. His release was 22M lol.

They also bought Mihelic off me for £40M after 1 international cap, and he's a 1st team regular for his country so I got the 40M. I just took a look at him and he hasn't played any matches, and is listed for loan.

There is no way Wenger would spend that!

He only sold Gilberto and Barazit (£13.25mil comb.)



Anyway, back to the point, Eboue seems to think the same as Hoyte, move to Villa Park would be a step in the wrong direction, well, at least hes 3rd choice RB now, Hoyte back in reserves! Made another bid for Hoyte, and hopefully itll be accpeted, but im going have to pay more than the 4 mil i wanted to pay!

Normally id play Barry at LB, Kewell at LM, and leave Mattock out,but guess what, Kewells injured!

I reckon i should qualifyfor the UEFA Cup easuily with that, what do you think?

Yep, Hutton is good for 5M. Pretty good deal.

Squad definitely looks strong enough to challenge for Europe. Not sure about the formation though. I'd look to either just get Piatti in at AMC and sit Young out. Or get Piatti in a AMC, move Barry to MC and Young to LM. The reason I say have Young at LM is because its well known that in the game the wings are the best position to exploit. With his pace he should be able to whip plenty of crosses in and Carew is very dangerous then. Also Barry coming in from the midfield will be dangerous. But I suppose if its working fine then why change it!?!

Marvin Angulo is fantastic for me at DR and he can play anywhere on the right as well.
