Default Dilemma over Beta patch

Though I've been using the unpatched version of fm 08 since it came out, I'm worried that some wicked bug will destroy my game with MK Dons.

So, is it better to play the game with the Upgraded Beta 8.0.1 or the Standard 8.0.0?

friend,

Do not waste yoiur time.

The beta improves some aspects of the game but messes others.

A total waste of time.

Another example of SI shoving something out which is for the mug customer, wait for ever until the real patch is eventually produced, circa 2078.

Beta is great, controversy and excessive disallowed goals both toned down. I would say go for it.

Yes once again it's "Let's all slam SI for taking their time on the patch so that the game is as good as possible rather than rushing it out so people like you can complain more as not everything is fixed" time.

I am not trying to defend SI but i would rather wait an extra couple of weeks for a patch which actually fixes all the problems then have one right now that is only a half job.

its a beta for crying out load. you can't expect it to be the finished article if its a beta.
its like moaning that a beta demo has bugs in it. if its a beta demo you EXPECT to have bugs in it.

One day I can sit down and tell you about this thing called a hard drive which allows you to have more than one copy of a file in different locations or with different names.

All saved games in FM are stored as single files (the longer you play, the larger the file). Make a copy of the file as backup and place it elsewhere.
