i used to have total club manager and you could put your wages into the club which increased your fan popularity, id start with juventus for a couple of years then go to grimsby and give them 50mil, id like this in fm.

You know how random things happen in the game, such as you getting a son in your youth team?

Well how about this... Say that as a manager your user made a lot of money from wages, but then you retired and made a new manager. Well, if the old user manager you made had made enough cash from wages, you could randomly see him taking over a club somewhere (like if he didn't make so much he'd take over a conference club, and if he really made big cash then he'd take over ManU or something )

Seriously, how does that sound? It can be fun and also provide more relevance to the wage feature.

That could happen in FM07 and i see no reason as to why it wouldnt in 08.

Stay at a club for a few years and you may see someone with the same second name as you and you on their favoured personel. Your "son".

Wouldn't it be cool if you could spend your hard earned pennies on celebrating big wins by taking the squad out on the town:

"Manager X has been sacked today by the chairman of the board because he invited the entire squad to the local brothel after winning the Premiership title last night because he had some money to spare in wake of his recent contract renewal"
