I've been playing the strawberry demo on XP with no problem, and I've played FM 07 on Vista with no problems. I've downloaded and installed the strawberry demo on Vista, but at the end of the installation I'm told that there were some errors during installion and to view the log to see what they were.
I can see the demo when going through control panel and viewing the list of installed programs, but the game doesn't appear in the Start Menu, and no icon has been placed on the desktop.
I managed to run the demo on Vista by browsing to the .exe on the C drive so it's not that much of an issue. I was just wondering if this is a common problem, and is it likely to occur when the full game is released and installed?

yeah I had the same problem.
As you say it works fine just doesn't create the start menu and desktop shortcuts.
Same here too, just right click and send to desktop. Also right click and 'pin to start menu' </BLOCKQUOTE>
Yeah that's what I had to do. Just thought it might be a bit confusing for players who wouldn't know how or think to do that. That's the sort of thing I'd imagine to be fixed for the main release though.
HELP! I had the same problem of you, guys, but also the .exe file doesn't work on my machine? Can you help me? (Sorry for my english but i'm a desperate italian FM fan)

Thank you for this quick answer! I find the exe file in the demo folder, but it doesn't work... it gives me a message, in italian language, which means that "a module of security can't be activated. this program can't be executed". What can i do, in your opinion?
Thank you for the advice shirtpotatoes: i tried, but it still doesn't work... i have, if it can be important, an acer laptop with windows vista home premium... if you can, help me please!
