Yes, I have the same issue. It is not in the start menu, nor on the desktop.

However, is it so much of a problem? The game plays fine and you can manually put a shortcut on the desktop.

As stated by Neil Dejyothin above.
It's not the game, it's Microsoft, they have put in some rules for allowing the "Games for Windows".
One of these rules is that no shortcuts must be placed on the desktop, and the icons must be in the games explorer (start, Games, Games explorer)
This is not an issiue with the game, it is have is has been designed, as stipulated by microsoft.

You can however still drag the icon from the games explorer onto the desktop if you so wish.

Correct but it doesn't work it just opens a saved game folder and also you can't add command line options for resolution to it!

Just a side question, where are all the graphics for the fm demo on vista because i can't find them, they show up on the game but i would like to know where they are. is it a demo thing or a vista thing (as i got my new pc the other day, not that vista litirate atm)

I can play the game, but every time i want to continu my saved game i need to re-install first, because he can not find my data folders and says my installation is corrupt. Help!!!1 got the game now for two weeks now and i can on restart the game

Full game works like a gem on my Vista.

Also took me a bit to realize that Vista has a new way of handling shortcuts to games.

if it is saying that then the installation was probably corrupt like it says Just do a quick reinstall. Also with this being games for Windows, will the 360 pad work with it? I have no use for it as I like using the keyboard and mouse, but just wondering
